FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT MISSED IT...
...here are a few photos from the signing for the new book Alexander McQueen: Genius of A Generation by Kristin Knox.
Kristin and fashion dog Butters arrived in style. Kristin was sporting a pair of McQueen leggings and brandishing a Sharpie and ready for some signing action whilst Butters was just geared up for some classic schmoosing.
We would like to say a big thank you to Kristin for coming to do the signing and helping to organise the event- I just hope RSI hasn't set in as she was rather inundated with people. Plus a big thank you to everyone who turned up. We do have a few extra signed copies left over but you will have to come and get the quick as there aren't many.
To find out more about the evening, the book and Kristin, you can visit her blog The Clothes Whisperer.

MCQUEEN BOOK SIGNING WITH KRISTIN KNOX
On Thursday 13th May between 6.30- 8pm, Kristin Knox a.k.a The Clothes Whisperer will be signing copies of her new book Alexander McQueen: Genius of a Generation at Material, Carnaby Street.
More than just a ready-to-wear designer, McQueen’s vision eclipsed the sphere of the fashion industry and reached into that of the artistic — his infamously over-the-top runway spectacles resembling a new kind of installation art more than a conventional catwalk show. More than just a visionary, McQueen’s exceptional tailoring skills allowed him to execute his avant-garde vision in a way that was both believable, accessible yet inconceivably beautiful. He was a friend to many in the industry and an inspiration to an entire generation of young designers and creatives.
Join Kristin Knox, international fashion blogger and journalist, at MATERIAL where she’ll be signing copies of her new book, Alexander McQueen: genius of a generation. A must-have buy for fashion lovers everywhere, and a beautiful keepsake, the book showcases the dramatic and spectacular work of this fantastic designer.
