The opening weekend of Amelia's show was a great success sp thank you to those of you who made it. It will be on for two months so there is plenty of time to come and see it.

We have sold out of Love magazine within a week of having it in stock but, never fear, we have ordered more and they will be with us by next week, however, these are sure to run out fast too so get in there quick. Please get in contact if you wish for us to put a copy by for you.

New Pantone Mugs Are Now In

W2 products (the company that brought us the original Pantone Mugs) have just released a set of 10 new colours for A/W 2009. The colours feature two shades of pink, putty grey, egg yolk and a wonderfully intense Violet. These mugs have been such a success that they are certain to become a design classic.

They arrived in store this week and are also available to buy mail order and soon to be available to buy online (our online ahop will be back up and running shortly).

JUST ARRIVED... NEW ISSUE OF LOVE

The new issue title of love magazine has just arrived at the shop. The first issue (spring/ summer 09) flew off the shelves and sold out everywhere so you had better get it quick!

NOW STOCKING MONOCLE MAGAZINE

After a few requests from customers, Monocle magazine has finally arrived at Material. Created and published in London, Monocle is a briefing on global affairs, business, culture and design. The September 09 issue (issue 26, volume 3) focuses on "Nations with the Light Touch" and features a 36 page report on the forces shaping Singapore. Bred by Fred Launch Party- THIS FRIDAY

This Friday (14th August) we will be holding a launch party for the newly established seasonal creative catering company Bred by Fred.

Bred by Fred is the latest thing to hit the I'm-so-foodie Ludlow catering scene, and you are cordially invited to sample a taste of what is on offer at an event catered by them.

The evening will kick off with rosy bubbles and crispy pig skin* (plus numerous other tasty delights) at 7.30pm.
