New in at Material this week is Galapagos- the collectors. Described as an organic vibe, The Collectors consist of duo Benet and Tom who met on the swings aged seven. Benet has previously co written for and played with Plaid (who have remixed Maya II for the E.P) and Tom has released music through Pork Recordings. They have sited their influences as Trojan Records, 80s indie guitar bands and Renaissance music.
