A truly inspirational issue, Frame no 76 INTERIOR REALITY arrived today at our London store. The issue features, as the title suggests, interiors and, more specifically that of retail spaces. There is wonderful eclectic mix of commercial interiors from that of the 24 Issey Miyake store; the first LA Missoni Boutique; the new Pantone hotels to Vogue Opttique's play with light and repetition and the glamourisation of eyewear where it's displayed like jewellery. Not to mention a Gaggenau show stand set up that is a reflection of the manufacturing processes with a live demonstration of construction of their ovens to .

Despite the recession, huge efforts are being made to create an impact on the customer's shopping experience and this issue presents to us both budget and big bucks case studies with the focus varying from sustainability to all out flamboyant, high impact new stores. Frame gives us a glimpse of the latter with their article The POWER AND THE GLORY: LOUIS VUITTON VS TOPSHOP IN LONDON.
