Studio On Fire is a design and letterpress workspace based in Minneapolis. Their Designer Series Cardline features illustrations by a select group of artists including Mike Perry who are specially invited to contribute work and receive a royalty on each card sold. All cards are exclusively letterpress printed on heavy 100% cotton paper reclaimed from the garment industry. Stunning designs and premium materials make them closer to a fine art edition than an occasion card.

It narrates the evolution of his creative practices, following the current of his visual imagination from his earliest childhood drawings through his mature oeuvre.


Hot off the press and just delivered at Material is this wonderful 2010 calender designed and illustrated by Marcus Walters.Marcus Walters is an illustrator and designer based in the UK working in the design industry for over ten years. Marcus works across a variety of media and his work incorporates hand crafted elements such as collage and drawing to create simple and enduring images.
Marcus's client list includes the BBC, Levis, Coca-Cola, Yellow Pages, Amnesty, Honda, Orange and various magazines worldwide. He is also co-founder of graphic design studio, New Future Graphic, to which he often brings his illustrative approach to graphic design projects.
Marcus will also be exhibiting in our up coming Lost in the Woods exhibition.

Published to coincide with Neal Fox's exhibition at Gallery Daniel Blau in Munich this year, the new book 2000 Light Years From Home is 64 hardback pages of Fox's inkings, following his Grandad's ghost on a phantasmagorical bender through pop culture, plus writings by Richard Milward and Amah Rose McKnight Abrams.
Neal Fox is a London based artist/illustrator. Born in 1981, he studied at Camberwell Art College and the Royal College of Art. Since graduating with an MA in 2005 his commercial illustration clients have included the Guardian, the Independent, the Times, Random House and Pete Doherty's band Babyshambles.

Due to the 1st edition being a sell out, Nick Morley has produced a second edition of his "Bear on Bike" screen print- this time with a red bicycle. The print is a signed and numbered edition of 50 and is available framed at £140 or unframed at £80. The print can also be purchased unframed via mail order and will soon be available to buy online.
We have finally, this week, acquired more 'Drink More Gin' posters by Robert Rubbish. The posters (due to their popularity) sold out at Material a few months ago but are now available once again. New in at Material this week is Galapagos- the collectors. Described as an organic vibe, The Collectors consist of duo Benet and Tom who met on the swings aged seven. Benet has previously co written for and played with Plaid (who have remixed Maya II for the E.P) and Tom has released music through Pork Recordings.
